Hotel Maistra 160 is Bettina and Richard Plattner's dream come true. The entrepreneur and hotelier couple have always wanted to build their own hotel and design it both architecturally and in terms of content in such a way that it fits both their values and those of a modern, changing society.

The Long Road from Vision to Hotel Opening
The Maistra 160 creates space for the needs, demands and values of this society. Touching architecture meets high alpine lifestyle and the most beautiful nature, reduction and meaningfulness create resonance in the experience. A place of longing in the Alps has been created. The strong architecture plays a central role and is an integral part of the concept.
After 4 years of waiting, rezoning, approval, demolition and finally a construction period of exactly 3.5 years, the new hotel in the heart of Pontresina was opened on Saturday, November 18, 2023 as planned
