Mountain Biking in Pontresina

The diverse trails around Pontresina invite both beginners and experts to enjoy mountain biking!

During the summer months, three full-suspension Bold mountain bikes in frame sizes M to L are available to our guests. The daily rental fee per bike for our hotel guests is CHF 20. Four e-bikes in frame sizes S to XL are available for all those who prefer to tackle the mountain trails in the Engadin with a little assistance. As a hotel guest, you can hire the e-bikes for CHF 50 for a whole day or CHF 35 for half a day.

The bikes can be reserved at the reception the evening prior. This way, exploring the surrounding area is even more fun!

Bringing your own bike? Our well-equipped bike room allows you to securely store your bicycle or e-bike.

For mountaineers and pleasure seekers

Pontresina is a paradise for hikers! Whether you want to summit a 3000-meter peak or explore the surrounding forests, lakes and streams with your family, you'll find the perfect tour here. And if you're a bit of a gourmet, there are plenty of huts and alpine meadows where you can rest your weary feet and enjoy the view with a cool drink. If you prefer a picnic, we can provide you with a delicious packed Maistra lunch.

Our reception will be happy to provide you with maps and insider tips for your ideal route. You can also borrow backpacks, hiking poles and binoculars for spontaneous hikes.

Golf Courses in the Engadine

Whether on Switzerland’s oldest golf course in Samedan, the varied Zuoz-Madulain golf course, or the smaller courses in Kulmpark St. Moritz and Parkhotel Margna in Sils – the Engadine offers breathtaking alpine panoramas that will make any golfer’s heart beat faster.
