Bike tour in the Valposchiavo

The Bernina Express mountain bike route, named after the famous Bernina Express of the Rhaetian Railway, connects the Upper Engadine with Valposchiavo. From Samedan, the route takes you along the Bernina Valley, past the glaciers. At the top of the pass, the trail leads around Lago Bianco before beginning its descent into Valposchiavo.
The railway journey back to the Bernina Pass allows you to experience firsthand the pioneering achievement of the construction of this line over 100 years ago.
