Attain Inner Balance with Yoga

There is hardly any other practice more effective for creating a state of inner balance than yoga, which is over 5000 years old and combines movement of the body and contemplation of the inner self. Let the URSINA yoga team, with our experienced yoga teachers Ursina, Johana and Alessandra, guide and inspire you to enter the state of “the here and now.” A perfect way to start off your day positively, or to round it off peacefully. 

Yoga lessons are held three times a week at the hotel. Lessons cost CHF 30 per person for visitors, and are free for hotel guests. We also offer yoga subscriptions: 11 lessons for the price of 10, priced at CHF 300.

If you prefer to practice yoga on a one-on-one basis, you can book a private lesson. Please contact reception to arrange this.

Pranayama


Try different breathing exercises and experience their effect of making time stand still and giving our body an internal oxygen shower. Conscious breathing is said to have a healing, grounding effect. Breathing is the only involuntary organ function that you can influence yourself. Use your full lung capacity, rather than just part of it, to get to know your lifelong companion better and fully harness its potential.

Once a week, our exercise program is complemented by a 30-minute Pranayama lesson with Corinne Egger, a trained sports and yoga teacher. During this half hour, focus on your breathing and observe how breathing patterns can influence your well-being and psyche. Conscious breathing promotes clarity of thought and resolves mental blockages.

Prana comes from Sanskrit and can also be translated as life energy. Corinne invites you to get to know our lifelong companion better and to strengthen your life energy through conscious breathing. Breathing means living or living is breathing.

The Pranayama lesson costs CHF 20 per person. For our hotel guests, the lessons are free.

Silence & Inspiration - your 30-minute break


Start your weekend mindfully with a half-hour meditation session on Friday evening. Leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and immerse yourself in tranquility with Ursina Badilatti. 

This guided practice invites you to arrive fully in the moment – connected with yourself. The yoga teacher intuitively shapes this time with an impulse from the heart or a classic meditation. Experience a new depth – touching, inspiring, and simply different from usual.

The meditation session costs CHF 20 per person. For our hotel guests, the sessions are free.
