Jade – An Excursion to Southern Poschiavo

Join us on an exciting journey to discover the origins
of the semi-precious stone nephrite jade, surrounded by the
breathtaking scenery around Selva—a picturesque
high plateau in southern Poschiavo at 1,450 meters above sea level.
 

Hike duration:
approx. 1.45 hours, approx. 100 meters of elevation gain
The hike is planned as a day trip with a picnic.

In addition to searching the terrain, the focus is on treating
nature with respect and ensuring safety in the mountains.
The goal is to walk through the landscape with open eyes,
learn new things, and better understand the geology of this unique
region.

After returning, the journey continues in the Creative Box: Stone cutter Francesco Cortesi helps give the individual
finds a new form. You decide what your
piece of jewelry should look like!

Course fee:
CHF 160 per person, including picnic (without overnight stay)
