At Hotel Maistra 160, we place great importance on ensuring that all family members feel completely comfortable. Our 36 rooms are equipped with a “Stüvetta,” a cozy Swiss stone pine box with a sliding door. These “rooms within rooms” offer children and teenagers a quaint sleeping option and a bit of privacy, creating a cozy atmosphere they will love.
Depending on availability, children under 16 can stay in their own room next to their parents at a reduced price. Please ask us about availability and prices.
If you have any special requests or needs for your child’s well-being in the room, just let us know.
For larger families there are our 11 Maistra Lodges. These fully-furnished holiday apartments offer everything you need for a comfortable stay: a kitchen, en-suite bathroom for each bedroom, living and dining areas, and plenty of space to enjoy time together while maintaining individual freedom. Some have their own laundry facilities or access to a communal laundry room. All apartments have a balcony or garden seating area.
When the weather is nice, our terrace becomes a piazza, inviting you to linger and enjoy, in summer with an ice cream trolley from Gelateria die Berna. Inside, too, our restaurant offers an uncomplicated meeting point for young and old. Food is pure joie de vivre, and that's exactly what we want to convey even to the youngest among us. You can look forward to fresh, healthy and varied cuisine to suit every taste. But don't worry, our children's menu also includes much-loved classics: fish fingers with mashed potatoes or homemade chicken nuggets with fries? Coming right up! And if the adult conversation at the table grows too boring, we are happy to provide coloring paper and crayons.
Our Creative Box is open until 8 p.m. on opening days, so that impatient children and teenagers can enjoy a creative activity after an early dinner. For visiting friends there is the Dine & Box offer. Admission is free for restaurant and hotel guests, the crafts are charged for the material used.
Welcome to Creative Box, the colorful hub for everyone who loves to make things! Here, kids (ages 6 and up) and adults can bring their ideas to life. With cool equipment like a 3D printer and a huge selection of materials, paints and supplies, the sky's the limit. Our professional creative team is up to date on the latest trends and techniques and is always on hand to offer advice and guidance. Whether you're looking for a simple craft session, an arts and crafts workshop (such as the Engadin Ferienspass), a children's birthday party with the whole gang, or just a good time on a rainy day - come by and let your creativity run wild!

Family time is great - but sometimes it's just cooler to hang out with your peers, right? Our tip: Hang out and have fun with friends at the Pöstlikeller! Where once the legendary Pontresina cellar bar brought the nights to life, today regular live music and our fantastic bar team create a party atmosphere for locals and guests alike. Entry from 16 years!
Whether during the day or in the evening, our Front Office team will be happy to arrange suitable professional childcare (for a fee) for your children. Just speak to us and we will make sure your little ones are well cared for while you relax and enjoy your time off.
