Experience the Power of Silence
With renowned Zen master Nikaus Brantschen
6 September - 10 September 2026
For the first time, Niklaus Brantschen and Roland Hischier will be offering days of reflection and meditation in Pontresina.
In addition to Zen meditation, discussion, time for yourself, and group walks, the special atmosphere of the Hotel Maistra 160, designed by architect Gion A. Caminada, will contribute to the success of these days in the Engadin. These days offer an opportunity to find yourself, meet others, and determine your place in the world. You have the potential to change your life.
The programme is flexible, taking into account the ideas and needs of individuals. Experience in Zen meditation is not required.
Your hosts: Niklaus Brantschen (Jesuit priest, Zen master) and Roland Hischier (Zen master)
Niklaus Brantschen is a Jesuit, Zen master, author, and co-founder of the Lassalle Institute in Bad Schönbrunn. He grew up in Valais.
“Mountains have shaped me. I grew up among them, and it was against them that I measured my youthful strength. Now that I am older, I am drawn back to them more and more often. Mountains are my home.” Niklaus Brantschen
Your “good deed”: A part of the course fees will be donated to the LASSALLE Community, which was initiated and long supported by Niklaus Brantschen.
