MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) is an 8-week program designed to help individuals manage stress. Developed by Prof. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, this program has been taught for over 40 years at the Stress Reduction Clinic he founded. It has achieved global success, being implemented in numerous clinics and health institutions worldwide. Numerous scientific studies validate the effectiveness of MBSR. Benefits include symptom reduction, improved stress management, a deeper understanding and better acceptance of problems through conscious awareness, and experiencing the present moment.

MBSR introduces a lifestyle of mindfulness. Mindfulness involves being aware of what we feel, think, or do, and approaching this awareness with an open, accepting, and non-judgmental attitude. Through mindful living, our minds can stop automatically resisting unpleasantness, even in situations associated with stress, pain, or discomfort. This, in turn, allows us to become calmer, more relaxed, and gain a fresh perspective.
