MBSR is a proven, scientifically validated stress management program developed by Prof. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. For greater serenity, to promote mental health, and to reduce symptoms of illness.
The course is open to anyone interested and serves as an introduction to mindful living (mindfulness).
MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) is an 8-week program designed to help individuals manage stress. Developed by Prof. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, this program has been taught for over 40 years at the Stress Reduction Clinic he founded. It has achieved global success, being implemented in numerous clinics and health institutions worldwide. Numerous scientific studies validate the effectiveness of MBSR. Benefits include symptom reduction, improved stress management, a deeper understanding and better acceptance of problems through conscious awareness, and experiencing the present moment. MBSR introduces a lifestyle of mindfulness. Mindfulness involves being aware of what we feel, think, or do, and approaching this awareness with an open, accepting, and non-judgmental attitude. Through mindful living, our minds can stop automatically resisting unpleasantness, even in situations associated with stress, pain, or discomfort. This, in turn, allows us to become calmer, more relaxed, and gain a fresh perspective.

Some health insurance companies cover part of the course fees for MBSR courses.
Check the list of reimbursements for MBSR courses provided by the MBSR Association of Switzerland and ask your health insurance provider what reimbursement you are entitled to.
The course instructor, Regula Saner, is a member of the MBSR Teachers Association and is therefore accredited.
- Starting at CHF 2'410 per person for single occupancy in a double room
- Starting at CHF 2'130 per person for double occupancy in a double room
Course participation without overnight stay available upon request.

Course start: SU 6 pm / Course end: FR after lunch
